Big Brother: Memphis Garrett & Christmas Abbott Are Now Engaged
Big Brother stars Memphis Garrett and Christmas Abbott have now gotten engaged. These two met last year while competing on Big Brother 22: All-Stars.
Christmas Abbott and Memphis Garrett started their relationship while competing on Big Brother 22: All-Stars, and they have now gotten engaged. Prior to BB22, the fans could've never imagined that BB10's Memphis Garrett and BB19's Christmas Abbott would ever meet or become close. And even when All-Stars first started out, Memphis and Christmas' only link was that they were both a part of the Committee alliance. Alas, they weren't even that close at first.
It was much, much later on Big Brother 22 that the fans started to notice that Christmas and Memphis were getting suspiciously close to each other. On the other hand, both of them had gone into BB22 while dating their respective partners, so no one saw a relationship between those two coming. Still, it started to become very clear as the season went on that there was something there brewing between Christmas and Memphis inside the house.
After confirming their relationship to the fans in 2020 and even attending Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo's wedding ceremony together, Memphis Garrett and Christmas Abbott are now taking another huge step in their relationship: Memphis proposed, and Christmas said yes. This news was first reported by E!, but it was later confirmed by Memphis and Christmas on respective Instagram profiles (included below). Thus, Christmas and Memphis are officially engaged now, and they captured that special moment in a set of pictures that they shared via Instagram. The engagement between Memphis and Christmas was formalized by a proposal that took place at the Little Palm Island Resort & Spa in Florida. Memphis wrote in his Instagram post, "She said yes!! I love this woman unconditionally and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her." He then added a cute Big Brother-related hashtag, "#final2forever." In turn, Christmas shared the same pictures but wrote a caption of her own: "We knew we would love each other forever. I'm just so excited to officially say YES!!!" Later, Christmas revealed that she was shocked by the proposal, saying that she didn't expect it at all.
The fans will be happy to know that Christmas and Memphis are now happily engaged. Alas, just like Christmas herself, it is safe to say that most fans will be shocked by this sudden update during the pre-season of Big Brother 23.
