Kyiv welcomes extension of economic sanctions against Russia
Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova welcomes the extension of economic sanctions against Russia until January 2022.
“We welcome the European Council political decision to extend economic sanctions against Russia until January 2022. Russia must keep to the Minsk agreements and ensure the withdrawal of its troops from Ukraine’s borders and temporarily occupied Crimea,” Dzhaparova said on Twitter.
Earlier, President of the European Council Charles Michel said that the EU had decided to extend economic sanctions against Russia.
