...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 PM
CDT MONDAY...
* WHAT...Southeast winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and
seas 6 to 9 ft expected.
* WHERE...Portions of the Gulf of Mexico.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 7 PM CDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

* WHAT...Southeast winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt
expected.
* WHERE...Sabine Lake, Calcasieu Lake and Vermilion Bay.
* WHEN...From 7 AM to 7 PM CDT Monday.
...GALE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH MONDAY
AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 knots with gusts up to 40 knots.
* WHERE...All Lower Texas Coastal Waters including the Laguna
Madre.
* WHEN...From Monday morning through Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Very rough bay waters. Seas 8 to 11 feet
between 0 and 60 nautical miles offshore.
Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and seas.
