Bronx WWII hero, 97, ex-POW who escaped the Nazis and was shot by a sniper to finally receive Purple Heart
Willie Kellerman, who escaped Nazi captivity and survived a pair of gunshot wounds will receive a Prisoner of War Medal and the Purple Heart Tuesday at Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn.
