Two arrested in aftermath of shooting that wounded person in San Leandro
SAN LEANDRO — Two people suspected in a shooting earlier this month that wounded a person have been arrested, police said.
Detectives obtained and served search warrants after identifying the two Oakland residents and a vehicle tied to the June 11 shooting, police said. Police arrested the two without incident Tuesday.
The person hit by the gunfire survived the shooting, police said. Officers responded about 1:40 a.m. to the area of Garcia Avenue near Lafayette Avenue and found that person wounded more than once.
An ambulance took the person to a hospital.
Police also found two guns when they executed the search warrants, police said.
