Brock Lesnar claims UFC boss Dana White is ‘all right’ but WWE star claims ‘I probably should have got paid more’
BROCK LESNAR reckons UFC president Dana White is ‘all right’ but claimed ‘I probably should have got paid more’.
The WWE superstar first joined White’s UFC promotion in 2008 and went on to reign as the heavyweight champion.
Lesnar featured on eight UFC pay-per-views, headlining six and ranking as one of their highest-paid fighters.
The American enjoyed a good relationship with promoter White, but reckons he was slightly undervalued financially.
Lesnar, 44, said on The Pat McAfee Show: “Dana’s all right. I’ve got a lot of money from him.
“I probably should have got paid more, maybe.”
Lesnar debuted in the UFC as just a 1-0 MMA fighter, beating Min-Soo Kim in 2007.
But he was beaten by Frank Mir in 2008 which could have ended his UFC run before it only got started.

Lesnar said: “I was so mad at myself. It just built another thing that the people ram down your throat and say you can’t do something.
“Love those people. Love them. I get goosebumps for that. I had a one-fight deal, and I was like, ‘Please give me another shot at this.’
“Boom, then it took off. I fought Heath Herring and then I got Randy Couture and won the belt.”
After beating Herring and then Couture for the title, Lesnar would defeat Mir in a rematch, before getting a win over Shane Carwin.
But consecutive losses to Cain Velasquez and then Alistair Overeem saw Lesnar announce his MMA retirement.
A brief return in 2016 would follow at UFC 200, where Lesnar beat Mark Hunt but the points win was overturned to a no-contest following a failed drug test.
The pro wrestling legend then flirted with another comeback in 2018 to face then-champ Daniel Cormier only to re-sign with the WWE.
Dana’s all right. I’ve got a lot of money from him. I probably should have got paid more, maybe.

Having worked extensively with Vince McMahon and White, Lesnar cannot separate the two.
He said: “I really can’t compare the two guys. Honestly, my relationship with Vince is so different than it is with Dana over the years.
“Vince and I have had a love-hate relationship for the last 20 years, but it’s been good.
“We have a lot of water under the bridge. I have a lot of respect for both. But dealing with Dana, it’s just a totally different business approach.
“I met Vince when I was younger. I look at Vince more as a father figure actually.
“Because I’ve learned a lot of things from him, and I was able to carry those things over and handle business with Dana.
“Vince is a self-made person, so is Dana. Took the company and made it public.”
