Be nice if you actually looked around. Perhaps count up how many current players actually started at hudds academy or scholarship- you might be surprised. Huddersfield have an grade a academy- and have produced a long list of players who go on to play the game at professional or semi professional level.
I’m sick of having the same arguments though -it’s easy to have the best academy when you can attract the best talent. Walmsley and smithies two cases in point- both from the area both wanted by Huddersfield both decided to sign for saints / wigan. What can you do?
The gap isn’t looking that massive tonight is it.
