...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern

Schuyler, northwestern Chemung and east central Steuben Counties

through 515 PM EDT...

At 439 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Meads Creek, or 11 miles north of Corning, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around

unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...

Watkins Glen, Montour Falls, Meads Creek, Wedgewood, Monterey,

Sonora, Townsend, Watkins Glen International, Beaver Dams and

Moreland.
