The National Weather Service in League City has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...

Coastal waters from High Island to Freeport TX out 20 NM...

Galveston Bay...

* Until 545 PM CDT.

* At 420 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 8 nm west of Port Arthur to Galveston Bay to 11 nm

southwest of Upper San Jacinto Bay, moving southeast at 10 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and

suddenly higher waves.

East Galveston Bay, Galveston Ship Channel, Galveston Bay Entrance,

Galveston Bay, Buoy 42035, Offatts Bayou, North Jetty, Galveston

Pier 21, Trinity Bay, Smith Point, Galveston 150, Galveston

Causeway, Rollover Pass, High Island 63, The Texas City Dike, Eagle

Point and West Bay.
