Correction: Body Parts Theft story
In a story published August 18, 2022, about a Pennsylvania man being charged after allegedly attempting to buy stolen human remains from an Arkansas woman, The Associated Press erroneously reported that donated human remains on their way to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences had been stolen and sold. The remains had been used by the university for educational and medical purposes and had been transferred to a mortuary for cremation when they were allegedly taken.
