Warrington Wolves • Re: Season debrief, send in your questions
I do of course understand that the club and Powell can only say so much publicly in this day and age, but I would have expected a few more ‘reasonable’ questions to have been pitched, and a lengthy talk of what cultural issues needed addressing and the plan to mitigate these issues going forward. It seemed a bit simplified to me. Since Powell is famed for his attention to detail, and likes to talk at length about certain tactics, I would have thought the club would give him the platform to explain in depth the problems he’s encountered, even if it means admitting he’s made a few mistakes on the way. Personally I would prefer that, rather than ‘yeah last season was bad, next season will hopefully be better’….
