UAlbany football's Brad Igweike makes best of playing one-handed

Igweike was scheduled to come out of the club - foam and tape wrapped around an Orthoplast splint - after Thursday's practice. The Great Danes (1-3) have a bye this week and return to action Oct. 8 at Monmouth in Colonial Athletic Association action.

From this point, he's expected to wear just a brace.

"I can't wait," Igweike said. "Going into this season, one of my main goals was to get my hands on the ball, so I feel like the only way I could do that this year was by making SportsCenter with some crazy, left-handed catch. But I can't wait to feel like myself again completely."
