Fontenelle-Posson 'honored' to serve as Siena co-captain

Jabir designated Fontenelle-Posson and sophomore forward Anajah Brown as co-captains. Jabir said he could only recall having a sophomore captain one other time in his previous 34 seasons as a head coach.

"I just watched them all summer," Jabir explained. "Sometimes I think kids (picking captains), it's like a popularity contest. I knew what I was looking for in a leader, so I thought it was more important for me to make the call. I just think that they're moms and sisters and disciplinarians from the jump. They've been telling them where to go and what to do and they've really taken the young guys under their wings."
