AUSTIN, Texas (AP) _ Citizens Inc. (CIA) on Friday reported a loss of $5.1 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Austin, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 10 cents.

The insurance company posted revenue of $56.2 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $61.2 million.
