Breaking: FBI Searching Pence Home For Classified Documents

The FBI is searching the Indiana home of former Trump Vice President Mike Pence after it was reported that classified documents had been found there by an aide.

CNN reports that one of Pence's lawyers is at the residence being searched.

Conover has reported for C&L that classified documents were already found at his home previously after he had told the media he had none at all.

"A lawyer for former VP Pence discovered about a dozen documents marked as classified at the former Vice President's Indiana home last week. Pence didn't try to keep them as Donald did. Instead, he has turned those classified records over to the FBI.

In November 2022, Pence said he did not take classified documents with him as he left office. During an interview, Pence said there would be "no reason to have classified documents, particularly in an unprotected area."
