Pregnant Laura Anderson takes cryptic swipe at ex Gary Lucy after he breaks his silence on break-up
FORMER Love Island star Laura Anderson has shared a cryptic message on social media after ex Gary Lucy broke his silence about their relationship.
The Scottish beauty took a swipe at her ex by re-posting a thinly-veiled quote, seemingly directed at the actor.
Laura shared the post to her Instagram stories, which read: “I’ve been choosing peace over people lately. So far no regrets.”
It comes after Gary, best known for his roles in EastEnders and The Bill, broke his silence on the former couple’s split in an exclusive chat with The Sun.
Talking about expecting his fifth child with his Celebs Go Dating co-star, Gary explained that although the pregnancy was not planned, he is “excited and happy”.
He spoke of being dumped by Laura just a fortnight ago, prior to her announcing the pregnancy and stated: “Laura did want me to move but I have my responsibilities here.
“I have four kids and all the things that go along with that so it’s very difficult, if not impossible, to uproot at this time.
“Having gone through a divorce, my children need me and living such a long way from them just would not be possible.
“I wish I could break myself in half. I would if I could.”
Despite their split, Gary went on to gush: “I know Laura was over the moon (about the baby).
“However, things aren’t as I’d have loved them to be.
“I’m a romantic, so I want things to be perfect.
“I’ll always want that fairytale, but as you get older, you have to realise it doesn’t always work out.
“I’m really gutted. I haven’t stopped loving her and I won’t stop loving her.”
Laura announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post, where she wrote: “Our hearts are full Baby Lucy due Summer ‘23”.
