Watch Michael Gove hit the dancefloor again as he busts some moves with woman to disco tune
GROOVY Michael Gove hits the dancefloor again — and whirls a woman around to the Donna Summers classic I Feel Love.
The Levelling Up minister, 55, is seen throwing shapes at 2am as he belts out: “Ooh I’m in love, I’m in love, I’m in love, I’m in love, I’m in love.”
He was videoed in 1980s-themed Club Tropicana in his home city of Aberdeen — the latest dance classic from the divorced dad-of-two.
Tory MP Gove told locals he was visiting mum Christine when he went for a solo night out.
He headed for the dance floor and boogied away on his own until the woman joined him.
One stunned reveller said: “He appeared a bit tipsy but not drunk and was clearly having a good time.
“Some recognised him but a lot didn’t know who he was and just let him get on with it.
“After a while this girl went to chat with him and they had a dance together. It was all a bit of innocent fun.”
Club owner Tony Cochrane posted a picture on social media and said: “Michael Gove having wee boogie at Club Tropicana tonight.”
And nightclub photographer Rebecca McGregor, 26, added: “I was at a job nearby when my mum who works in Club Tropicana texted me to say Michael Gove MP was in.
“I went round and took a picture of him.
“He took a few selfies with customers and stayed until the end so I take it he was enjoying himself.”
Mr Gove was videoed dancing to a drum-and-bass DJ in the same city in August 2021.
This time he took a sip of the woman’s drink then pulled her towards him for a quick waltz.
Mr Gove left alone at 3am on Sunday.
He split from journalist wife Sarah Vine in 2021 and has since been spotted on a night out with BBC producer Sam McAlister.
Pals insist they are just good friends.
The minister and his Levelling Up department were contacted for comment.
