[Women's Basketball] UAV Locks In Top Seed and NAIA Bid
It took until the final day of the regular season to put it in ink, but the California Pacific Conference Championship contenders and their seeds have been determined, and they will all gather this weekend at Bell Bank Park at Legacy Fields in Mesa, Ariz., to see which teams can keep their seasons alive. Top-seeded Antelope Valley sewed up the regular season title last week, giving the Pioneers a bye into the semifinal round on Monday, Feb. 27, and one of the two automatic bids to the NAIA National Championship tournament. The Cal Pac tournament winner also advances, and if UAV wins the tourney crown, the tournament runner-up will join them in the NAIA national field.
