[Men's Basketball] WU Wins Four Games in Final Week of Season

Westcliff won four games over the final week of the California Pacific Conference regular season, landing the Warriors the #3 seed in this week's Cal Pac Championship tournament, with begins next Saturday, Feb. 25 at Bell Bank Park at Legacy Fields in Mesa, Ariz.  The first game of the opening round will pit #4 UC Merced against #5 Cal Maritime, followed by the matchup between WU and #6 Simpson.  The winners of those two games advance to the semifinal round, where the winner of between UCM and CSUM will play #1 Antelope Valley, and the winner between WU and SU will face #2 Saint Katherine.  UAV has garnered one of the two automatic bids to the NAIA National Championship tournament.  The Cal Pac tournament winner also advances, and if UAV wins the tourney crown, the tournament runner-up will join them in the NAIA national field.
