Chronic hand soreness strikes Astros' Yordan Alvarez again

Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez plans to rest his sore left hand and put batting practice on hold in hopes of overcoming a chronic issue before the start of the regular season.

Alvarez said at Houston's spring training camp in West Palm Beach, Fla., on Tuesday that he'll delay hitting off of live pitching for a few days. He arrived at camp and spoke with the team about his sore left hand, similar to the right hand soreness
