People have begun gathering for a rally for Donald Trump in a park outside the courthouse where the former president is scheduled to be arraigned. The rally with Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is scheduled to start midmorning Tuesday. That's several hours ahead of Trump’s court appearance. Some anti-Trump protesters also appeared. Later in the day, Trump supporters are expected to gather at his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida as he returns. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg arrived at court ahead of Trump’s expected surrender on history-making criminal charges. The charges involve payments made during the 2016 campaign to silence claims of an extramarital sexual encounter.
