Stocks are drifting as Wall Street remains hesitant to make big moves amid questions about where the economy, interest rates and corporate profits are heading. The majority have topped forecasts so far, but expectations were low. A report this week will show how strong the U.S. economy was at the start of 2023. It's one of the final pieces of data ahead of next week's pivotal meeting by the Federal Reserve on interest rates.
