Which 'seasoned pros' under contract would we be worried about? Its mostly them that are underperforming. In the backs only Myler, and Martin are seasoned pros who aren't new and under contract beyond this year, it won't be Handley who's just re-signed. Who in the forwards could it be - only Oledzki and Smith are experienced and under contract and worth bothering about? I can imagine it being Martin, who might not want to be playing in the centres, and whose form and confidence looks shot to the point his kicking is poor as well.

In any event, players whinging when things aren't going well is completely normal. Also normal to grumble about the coach instead of what they can control - their own performances. That's not to say Smith doesn't share any blame but our team shows no individual leadership or players who seem to take responsibility. Blaming the coach would be par for the course with that sort of mentality.
