Map: 3.8 earthquake felt across Los Angeles County

An earthquake of magnitude 3.8 was felt across the Los Angeles area early Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake, at 2:29 a.m, was centered off the coast about 13 miles southwest of Malibu.

Reports to the USGS Did You Feel It website were received from Ventura to the San Diego County line, across the San Fernando Valley and as far inland as Ontario.
