Omega-3 oil counteracts toxic effects of pesticides in pollinators: Study

Washington [US], July 4 (ANI): According to new research, using an omega-3 rich oil known as "ahiflower oil" helps protect honey bee mitochondria against neonicotinoid pesticide damage. Hichem Menail, a PhD student at the Universite de Moncton in New Brunswick, Canada, conducted this study as part of a larger effort.

"Pesticides are a major threat to insect populations and as insects are at the core of ecosystem richness
