Rain batters Karnataka coast, Karwar most affected

The moderate rainfall since Wednesday morning became more intense as the evening progressed and pelted the city with all its fury at around 6pm, creating traffic snarls, and artificial flooding in low-lying areas of the city, affecting normal life.
