Samsung Introduces Next-Generation Neo QLED 8K TVs
Samsung announces the launch of a new generation of premium Samsung Neo QLED 8K TVs. The 2023 lineup combines the latest advances in TV manufacturing: superb picture quality, surround sound and AI technology in a slim, minimalist Infinity One design.
Picture
The true 8K resolution provides top-notch realistic and ultrahigh-definition images. The AI-powered Quantum 8K neural processor with 64 neural networks analyzes the content and scales up the image enhancing it down to the smallest details. The neural networks optimize content frame by frame for the ultimate 8K display quality. The detailed image, the depth and volume of scenes, the accuracy of screen borders make the picture incredibly realistic.
Sound
Dolby Atmos® delivers surround sound through multi-channel speakers located all around the display. The newly introduced upper speakers, which are coming to the Samsung 2023 TV lineup, build up layered surround sound with a truly immersive experience. OTS Pro is an artificial intelligence technology that analyzes each frame making the sound follow each object on the screen. The sounds of falling raindrops or a thunder crashing behind will fill your space entirely.
Design
The new models embody the concept of weightless elegance: the infinite screen brings in an immersive experience with no distraction. The well-designed stand and metal body parts give a premium look and feel to the TV.
Gaming
The Neo QLED 8K technology allows users to enjoy a realistic image while watching content and also gives gamers a fully immersive experience. The TV’s high refresh rate of 144Hz ensures smooth and sharp picture even in the most dynamic gaming scenes. True gamers will certainly appreciate the gaming environment with no image tearing or freezing, as well as the automatic game mode activation when a console or PC is connected, and the optimization of the ultra-wide 21:9 or 32:9 aspect ratio picture.
Connectivity
SmartThings brings together Samsung smart home technology and makes it easy to control it through connected devices, including a TV screen. The 2023 Samsung TVs already come with the built-in IoT Hub (a smart home control hub), which allows to connect third-party smart devices directly to the TV and control them.
Sustainability
The new Samsung TVs have become even more sustainable. The packaging is made from recyclable materials and is easy to dispose. The redesigned SolarCell Remote is even more compact with up to 24% of its components sourced from recycled materials. Moreover, the remote control is now solar powered and can be charged by sunlight or indoor lighting, as well as via the USB Type-C port. This helps reduce hazardous battery waste.
