Carolyn Franks - Life Vice President

At the league’s AGM on 2nd June 2023 our secretary Carolyn Franks was elected as the league’s first Life Vice President.
The position was created at the 2022 AGM to recognise individuals who have given exceptional and invaluable service to the league over many years. It should be stressed it is for service to the league not a club within the league. Most clubs have their own way of recognising that service.
It was always intended to be a small exclusive group and it was important that the first recipient set the standard for future nominees.
We could not have chosen a better one with Carolyn’s commitment to the league an inspiration to us all. She did say that one reason for her service was to preserve her late husband Cliff’s legacy. Not only has she done that, but she has built her own legacy as well. The league is indeed fortunate to have Carolyn as its Secretary.
She is a most worthy recipient of this award.
