West Virginia transfer Joe Toussaint commits to Texas Tech

West Virginia transfer Joe Toussaint is headed to Texas Tech.
The 6-foot former Cardinal Hayes (N.Y.) star chose the Red Raiders over Kansas State and Pitt.
“I believe that coaching staff has crazy faith in me and I also believe I can make this team an NCAA tournament team,” he told ZAGSBLOG.

He averaged 9.4 points and 2.6 assists as a senior at West Virginia, and opted to transfer after the coaching change that saw Josh Eilert replace Bob Huggins as an interim.
Toussaint joins Arizona State transfer Devan Cambridge on new coach Grant McCasland’s team.
The 6-foot-6 Cambridge averaged 9.8 points and 5.4 rebounds on 50% shooting from the field as a full-time starter, including a season-high 18 points against Washington.
