USPA National Intercollegiate Championship 2023

Congratulations to our Women’s teams after their wins at the USPA National Intercollegiate  Tournament. Whoop!!! The players were Josie Dorsey, Cara Kennedy, and women’s captain Olivia Reynolds. After a second half comeback with six penalty conversions and a crucial two-pointer, the sixth chukker ended in a tie. This forced a shootout, which was broken during a second round of overtime penalties with Reynolds hitting the goal making the final score 13-12 and a win against the UVA women’s team. Both Olivia Reynolds and Josie Dorsey were awarded All-Stars, and Dorsey also took home the David Wenning Memorial Horsemanship Award!

Men’s Team won their first game against SMU 17-9 but ultimately lost to UNT in the semifinal match. We are proud of all the players for their hard work this year!
