Women rush to buy viral pads that keep breasts cool in summer – as the brand says they’re ‘racing to keep them in stock’
BUSTY women of a certain size know just how sweaty summer can be — in the bra region, in particular.
One wellness brand promises that its chilled bra inserts offer an en-cup cool-down — and after appearing in a morning show segment, they quickly sold out on Amazon.
Joylux’s cooling pads come in two varieties, which are worn directly on the skin and absorb heat from the body.
After 20 minutes in the refrigerator, the coldHER 58° patches can be inserted anywhere in the bra where needed, cooling the chest to 58°F.
The coldHER 80° inserts, meanwhile, are cooled at room temperature and can bring your local body temperature to 80°F.
A spokesperson from the brand told The U.S. Sun that they’re great for combatting hot flashes, post-workout heat, breast pain, and soreness for nursing moms.
Each sells for $23 for a pack of 4.
In late June, the inserts were touted on the Today show as a great way to beat summer heat.
Within days of the segment airing, both varieties of the insert were completely sold out on Amazon.
In fact, the spokesperson said they’ve sold out of two orders on Amazon since the segment.
“Women definitely rushed to buy them!” she said.
While Joylux will make more available on Amazon, they’re currently available to buy on the brand’s website.
Today show viewers, it seems, aren’t surprised they’re so in demand.
“Oh my gosh Finally!!!! The amount of ice packs I’ve stored under my girls. This is fantastic,” wrote one.
“Brilliant. I guarantee these were invented by a woman,” wrote another.
“I need these for my ‘mountains dew,'” quipped a third.
