Noughties girl band star looks unrecognisable in plunging bra top as she parties at Wireless festival
SINGER Mutya Buena looked unrecognisable in a plunging bra top as she attended a Wireless festival after-party on Friday.
The Sugababes star shot to fame in the 90s girl band – but she has completely transformed after leaving the spotlight more than two decades ago.
Revealing extensive tattoos, dramatic make-up, and blonde hair, the star looked completely different from her girl band days as she posed for snaps at Spotify‘s after-party.
Mutya, 38, showed off her ample cleavage in a dark denim bralette and a black matching boiler co-ord.
She added some height to her look with pointed-toe heeled boots and accessorised with a silver chain necklace.
The singer has always been open and honest about having work done in the past and revealed in 2010 that she had had bum implants for a reported £5000.
She told Heat magazine at the time: “I researched it a little while ago. Everyone’s got it in the US and Brazil. I just wanted it a bit perkier.
“It’s not that there was anything wrong with it – it’s just a change. I like to be extreme.”
In 2013, she later had her breast implants removed, taking her from a 36E to a 36DD.
She told Closer magazine at the time: “Having the implants out had been a long time coming and now I feel like a weight’s been lifted – from my boobs as well as my mind.
“I can finally wear all those tight dresses I could never put on before because I worried about how huge my boobs looked. I’m much more confident.”
Mutya found fame with the Sugababes in 1998, scoring a string of number ones.
The group famously saw multiple line-up changes over the years, with Mutya going solo in 2005.
But she’s now back together with original founding members Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy and last year they hit the road for their first headline tour in two decades.
Last December they released the first Sugababes album since 2010 – The Lost Tapes – which rocketed to number two on the iTunes chart.
