New research by scientists from NASA and Japan’s Osaka University suggests that our galaxy’s rogue planets far outnumber the hundred billion or so worlds that orbit stars. The results imply that NASA’s Roman Space Telescope could find a staggering 400 rogue Earths. Indeed, this new study has already identified a candidate.
