Man killed, young child injured in shooting at the Granada Hills Recreation Center

GRANADA HILLS — A man was killed and a toddler wounded during a shooting at the Granada Hills Recreation Center, authorities said.

Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday to the recreation center at Petit Avenue and Chatsworth Street regarding a shots fired call, ABC7 reported.

Upon their arrival officers found the man and the boy. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and the toddler’s condition was not immediately known.

There was no immediate suspect information.
