Molly-Mae Hague fans praise her as she admits she DOESN’T feel ‘mum guilt’ for leaving baby Bambi at home
MOLLY-MAE Hague has been praised by fans for admitting she doesn’t feel “mum guilt” for leaving baby Bambi at home.
As a busy influencer and reality star, the 24-year-old is often forced to work away from Bambi – who she shares with boyfriend Tommy Fury.
But the former Love Island star has confessed that, although she misses her six-month-old daughter, she doesn’t feel guilty for earning a living for her family.
Speaking in her latest YouTube video, Molly said: “Sometimes the guilt that I feel is guilt for not having ‘mum guilt’.
“That’s quite a scary thing for me to admit, especially online, because everyone’s gonna be like ‘you don’t feel guilty for leaving your child?’
“And of course I do. Absolutely, even if I leave Bambi for just a few hours, of course I feel guilty that I’m not with her and I want it to be taking care of her.
“But these intense levels of ‘mum guilt’ that some of my other mum friends feel… I was saying to my friend that the guilt I feel is that I don’t feel that level of guilt when I have to go away for work.
“I miss Bambi so much but do I feel guilty for leaving her to go to work so that I can earn a living? If anything I feel proud.”
Rushing to reassure Molly, one fan wrote: “Missing and guilt is different.. don’t stress everyone is different.”
Another said: “Guilt isn’t needed when you know you’re an incredible mum, providing for your baby & she’s completely safe & happy with family!”
And a third added: “It’s definitely ok to not feel extremely guilty Molly!”
Molly and Tommy, also 24, welcomed Bambi in January.
Fans will soon get a glimpse into Molly and Tommy’s home life with their little girl in Netflix series At Home with the Furys.
The trio will appear in the fly-on-the-wall documentary alongside Tommy’s older brother Tyson, his wife Paris and their six children.
