To pen a historical fiction set against the backdrop of the Mullaperiyar dam construction, Vennila Ambalavanan set out to collect material. She spotted around 35,000 documents at Tamil Nadu Archives. The papers will be digitised as part of the State’s endeavour to thematically collate archival documents and digitise them for public use.
