Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra made her second visit to Madhya Pradesh to pay her respects to freedom fighter Rani Laxmibai and to address a public meeting shortly. Assembly polls in the state are due by the end of this year. Priyanka Gandhi had earlier accused the state's government of corruption and failing to provide jobs while accusing former Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia, who defected to the BJP, of incompetence. The Congress formed the last government, which fell in 15 months, and paved the way for BJP to return to power.
