Cleaning whizz invents a a simple laundry hack that’ll make your life so much easier – and it’s dead simple

LET’S face it, very few people enjoy doing the laundry and would class it as one of their least favourite chores.

But what if we was to tell you there was a simple way to make it a whole lot easier?

Well, listen up…because a savvy cleaning whizz named Beatriz has shared the genius space-saving trick she uses to hang up her clothing to dry – and it turns out we’ve all been doing it wrong.

In a clip shared to TikTok (@makelifesimpler_), she begins by demonstrating the familiar way people tend to hang their freshly washed garments on a clothes horse.

But rather than hang them horizontally over the different tiers, she instead suggests hanging them vertically so that you can dry more clothes at once.

Not only this, but she advises placing them on hangers so that the creases drop out, meaning no ironing will be required.

She captioned the post: “Did you know about this space-saving hack?”

The post has since gone viral, racking up a whopping 1.7 million views and several comments.

“Just wonder why I didn’t think of this,” wrote one.

A second enthused: “You save me girl!”

A third commented: “I use clothes hangers and can hang up so much more!”

Meanwhile, a fourth noted: “THIS IS GENIUS.”

Another praised: “Wow thank you.”

And a further pointed out: “I do this when I have lots of washing ( towels and sheets) outside on the clothes line.”

However, elsewhere, others had their doubts about the clothes- drying idea.

“Nice, but it dries twice longer,” wrote one.

Another pointed out: “No air flows…will be smelly.”

And a further added: “That could make the clothes smell funky though.”
