A SELF-DESCRIBED supermom has shared her twelve mom hacks that are essential for road trips with your children.

She told viewers about several quick tricks, including how to keep your car clean, keeps your kids fed, and keep them entertained.

Shannon Doherty (@athomewithshannon) is a busy mom of four children.

She regularly shares helping parenting tips online for other mothers.

In a TikTok video, she revealed some of her favorite family road trip hacks and showed firsthand how she applied each tip to her life.

She advised viewers to put shoe organizers over the backs of car seats because they hold everything, and to make a “first night away bin so you’re not lugging out all of your luggage.”

She also said to freeze snacks and put them in a cooler because they also double as ice and defrost.

To keep track of stops, she has a piece of tape labeled with each one at the top of the car.

In terms of kid-friendly items, she suggested packing mini lights for reading, a mini fan for nausea, a snack container that doubles as a garbage can, lap trays, and fishing tackle boxes to hold snacks.

Shannon also has a fun game where she opens surprise bags every 30 minutes of her trip to keep them entertained.

“Take a bath mat. Cut it in half. Put it in the back. Keeps your car clean,” she explained as a way to keep your car crumb-free.

Lastly, she suggested packing dry-erase markers, so your kids can be busy drawing on windows, and it just wipes off.
