: Amazon wants employees to return to ‘main hubs’: WSJ
Amazon.com Inc. AMZN has warned employees that they may have to move to the company’s main offices in larger cities, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter. Amazon managers reportedly are telling employees at smaller offices about the possibility of relocating to “main hubs,” such as the Seattle headquarters and the New York and San Francisco offices, the newspaper said. The number of employees that may be affected by the change is unclear, it said. Amazon stock has gained 55% so far this year, compared with an advance of around 18% for the S&P 500 index. SPX
