I first saw Trevor at a trial game at Damson Lane. I think he was 14 or 15. At the trial you knew he was special- I an sure he scored at least one goal maybe more. Then I was there ti see the rise of Superboy, including the 4 goals against Bolton. He was our magnificent number 8 in the Penguin kit. There is no Blues player that compares with him. Yes, Jude may have saved the Club this time but Trevor’s one million pound transfer did too at the time.
And now he has gone. We need to retire his number and rename whatever and build a statue.
