Community gathers before Manitoba church basement excavation for unmarked graves begins Wednesday

Minegoziibe Anishinabe, also known as Pine Creek First Nation, is working with Brandon University researchers to search 14 anomalies found near the former Pine Creek Residential School in a church basement. The excavations begin Wednesday and are expected to take a month.
