: Dollar rallies against Israeli shekel after part of reform measure passes
The dollar USDILS surged to 3.7163 Israeli shekels, from 3.663 shekels on Monday. Israel’s government passed the first part of its controversial judicial reform on Monday. The measure prevents judges from striking down government decisions on the basis they are “unreasonable.” The dollar has gained 5% against its Israeli counterpart this year.
