Since the mask mandate was lifted on June 26, there have been outbreaks at my mother’s Ottawa city-run long-term care home on different floors and my mother recently tested positive. I think lifting the mask mandate was a grave mistake and it should be reinstated immediately. This is an important issue that should be covered in the media.
