While senior advocate Indira Jaising insisted on inclusion of women from civil society who have prior experience in interacting with victims of rape, senior advocate Colin Gonsalves also echoed the demand for constitution of an SIT. He argued that the victims will have no confidence in the CBI since the central and state government allegedly acted in unison in turning a blind eye to the violence happening in Manipur.
