NATIONAL SUMMARY
A large storm will bring some showers and steady rain to
parts of the Southeast as it slowly moves offshore tomorrow.
Meanwhile, a massive storm will expand across the West,
bringing heavy rain, mountain snow as well as strong winds
to California as well as feet of snow pile across the higest
elevations of the Sierra Nevada, Rain and mountain snow will
also expand northward into the Northwest and northern
portions of the Intermountain West. At the same time, the
Northeast, Midwest and the Plains will see dry conditions as
the result of high pressure remaining fixed over the region.
At the same time, mild and warmer conditions will push from
central parts of the nation southward into the southern
Plains while breezy conditions pick up over Texas and
Louisiana.
