Entergy: Q4 Earnings Snapshot

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Entergy Corp. (ETR) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $988.3 million.

On a per-share basis, the New Orleans-based company said it had profit of $4.64. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 52 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 55 cents per share.

The power company posted revenue of $2.72 billion in the period, also falling short of Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $3.27 billion.

Entergy expects full-year revenue in the range of $7.1 million to $7.4 million.
