Grains higher, Livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May advanced 18.75 cents at $5.4475 a bushel; Mar. corn gained 11 cents at $4.3225 a bushel; May oats rose 6.50 cents at $3.7325 a bushel; while Mar. soybeans was up 4.25 cents at $11.7325 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Apr. live cattle rose .68 cent at $1.8825 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle gained .85 cent at $2.4935 a pound; Apr. lean hogs was up .30 cent at $.84 a pound.
