Authorities say one man has been killed and another injured in southern Illinois after a barn partially collapsed into a burn pit and caught fire. Monroe County Coroner Bob Hill says a man called 911 at 9:35 a.m. Saturday and said a dilapidated barn outside Waterloo that was being torn down had collapsed on his two co-workers. Hill says a deputy coroner pronounced a 58-year-old man from Wildwood, Missouri, dead at the scene. The man’s name hasn't been released. Hill says another man was transported by ambulance to a St. Louis hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
