NATIONAL SUMMARY

A storm off the coast of California will spread rain and

thunderstorms across much of the state tomorrow, while

showers and even a rumble of thunder will occur in Oregon

and Idaho. Meanwhile, showers will linger across portions of

the Northeast as a storm slowly travels across southeastern

Canada. Snow can mix with rain in the higher elevations of

northern Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire and Vermont,

with little to no accumulation expected for most. A gusty

breeze from the northwest will make for a chilly day across

this region. With the exception of a spotty shower in

northern Minnesota and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the

rest of the country will experience dry conditions and

plenty of sunshine as a broad zone of high pressure remains

in control of the weather.
